What Area-IQ collects, why we collect it and the choices you have.
Public location intelligence
Area-IQ uses aggregated public datasets to describe places. We publish area-level statistics and do not use the explorer to identify individuals.
Pilot and commercial enquiries
If you join the founding pilot, we collect the name, email address, location and product interest you submit, together with your consent and submission time. We use this information to confirm coverage, respond to your request and discuss relevant Area-IQ services. Submitting the form does not take payment.
Usage analytics
Area-IQ measures aggregate page views and a small set of product actions, such as viewing the sample report or submitting the pilot form, to understand whether the service is useful. Analytics events contain fixed product labels only; we do not send names, email addresses or entered locations with them.
Storage and sharing
Enquiry details are stored in Area-IQ's secured service database and are available only for operating the service and responding to enquiries. We do not sell personal data. Service providers may process data on our behalf where needed to host and operate Area-IQ.
Your choices
To withdraw a pilot request, ask what information we hold, or request correction or deletion, email intelligence@area-iq.com.
